It is not allowed to transport children in the trailer and on the bicycle at the same time. The lenght of the bicycle and the trailer must not exceed 3.5 metres. During lighting-up time, two red rear lights are required. Furthermore the trailer must be equipped with two white reflexes in front and two red reflexes at the rear as well as yellow reflexes on the sides. Trailers for tr ansportation of children must have protection against the spokes and a device for fastening of the children.[/norebro_text]

If there is a cycle lane it must be used. The cyclists are permitted to ride side by side, if the is ample space on the road, and if they cause no inconvenience to the other road-users. Bicycles are of course not allowed on motorways or on roads where motorway regulations are in force.

[norebro_text]When a cyclist has to turn left, it must be done in two stages as shown above. It is extremely important to follow this rule as Danish car drivers are used to this way of cyclists turning left.[/norebro_text]
